I’ve experienced firsthand the significant physical and emotional challenges of serving as the primary caregiver for my spouse. Teresa felt like family and supported me so that I could be the wife Bob needed during this stage of our lives together. My husband was both brilliant and caring. Off-the-shelf caregivers or care managers would not have served Bob well. The staff from Lifeline that assisted us, including the caregivers, chef, and care managers, were top-notch and all tailored to the very specific needs we had. I have come to trust Teresa personally and professionally. Her timing was perfect when she adjusted levels of care, and ultimately arranged for hospice services. For myself, she continues to assist in my medical and financial affairs. Her suggestions to my physician have made huge difference in the quality of my life. Mostly, though, I’ve appreciated my time laughing with Teresa. In the face of trials associated with aging, laughter has indeed been the best medicine and Teresa has been a friend I’ve laughed with. Oh, how we’ve laughed together.
